Yoga and wellbeing in the workplace
Yoga, desk yoga, posture and breathwork
We know that the human body is designed to move, not sit at a desk for hours a day, five days a week. Yet for many of us this is the reality of the modern workplace. A wellbeing at work session or programme can help address the balance, and we offer bespoke corporate wellness designed for all kinds of settings and employees. You can tailor your package to include exactly what your team needs, or set up a call to discuss ideas and let us advise you on what might work best. Examples include:

-
Regular yoga class in person or online
-
Desk yoga
-
Posture clinic
-
Breathwork
-
Meditation and mindfulness
-
Self care session

Yoga and Desk Yoga
We offer two types of corporate yoga class, desk yoga and classic mat yoga. We can design a class to suit all levels of experience and take into account injuries etc. and tailor the session to your environment and any specific issues your team would like to work on. Our desk or chair based classes are ideal for delivery in a meeting room or your office space, while mat-based classes would require more space and the correct clothing. We can provide mats if required. Suggested areas include:

-
A simple yoga sequence you can easily do at home, outside or in a meeting space at work
-
Some basic postures to help with back and neck pain
-
The basics of the yoga philosophy
-
Yoga for posture
Breathwork
This has become quite a buzzword in recent years, due to Wim Hof and other practitioners shining a light on its benefits. Yogic techniques of breath awareness, breath control and conscious breathing are a powerful tool to relieve stress, focus the mind and regulate the nervous system. Breathwork is simple and effective, and easy to tap into, wherever you are, without anyone even knowing! Very often, the effects are felt in real-time, making them a powerful tool for self care.
